Yes, but with dropshipping you’re waiting weeks for the product to arrive from China, with FBA you get it overnight from an Amazon warehouse. FBA is also quite expensive for the seller

The weird “brand names” are basically drop shippers. People buy Thing, send them to Amazon’s warehouses, pop a storefront.
That is not drop shipping

At least my .club domain worked for everything except deepseek so far

Just get a cheap domain and configure a catch-all redirect. Obviously not a solution viable for normies, but should be easy for many Lemmy users.
Almost every website will accept a custom email domain

The cars since 2020 have been decent quality

German source, since murica doesn’t have mandatory safety inspections. Literally no other car brand has a higher failure rate than Tesla, and the car with the highest failure rate was the Model Y, which released in 2022

They are already included in the kernel, no installation needed. Every Brother printer made in the last two decades is plug and play on Linux.

How do they refill their oil every 1000 miles without opening the hood?

KOReader can be installed on almost any e-reader, even Kindles. Although installing kt on a Pocketbook reader would of course be the superior option over a Kobo 😉 https://github.com/koreader/koreader
It does have a learning curve though, definitely aimed at powerusers

The wording on the original comment was still extremely inaccurate. Apple didn’t fuck with the batteries remotely. They throttled the SOC with a silent update, which technically even extended the battery life on phones with degraded batteries, it just happened to make them very slow in the process. So it’s acurrate to say the opposite of the original comment was the case, even if Apple should still have installed sufficient batteries in the first place and/or informed their customers about the update before getting caught.
There are thousands of legitimate reasons to criticize Apple, we don’t need to twist the facts. It just makes the criticism worthless to anyone that knows better

Human hands don’t have muscles 🤓

Du kriegst auch in Deutschland sehr leicht Vapes mit mehr als 20mg/ml, sind nur eben illegal. Der Schwarzmarkt für Vapes ist groß

Who puts an HDD into a desktop computer in 2026? For a NAS I would understand, but putting an HDD in a desktop is very uncommon nowadays, even as a secondary drive

but I’ve always heard that Nintendo in Japan is a somewhat safe stock
Nintendo has extreme amounts of liquidity. They could operate for years without any income

Just being able to remove the awful screen margins is already worth it. Whose idea was it to have 30% of the screen real estate be unused when reading a book

Oh, I definitely know I’m not a profitable customer for them. My home electricity bill for my NAS is already a multiple of my Backblaze subscription

I have a 190TB NAS, and Backblaze is $99 for unlimited. At least it was until now

This would increase my yearly cost from $99 to over 10k

But the article isn’t about India
You can install KOReader on Pocketbook ereaders (no jailbreak required), which supports OPDS
