Anyone install the Dev Beta yet? If not, please feel free to share any resources discussing the beta or compiling a compatibility list.
Liking it so far. Definitely needs a fair bit of polish but seems to be very stable and I’ve only come across a couple of noticeable bugs.
I have found one inter thing worth mentioning; the new ‘visited places’ feature isn’t available to me. Might not be available in Australia yet? Apple did a similar thing with other features in previous betas.
I’ve used the updated CarPlay a few times and I do not see any listing of ‘visited places’. In the US so maybe it’s not an exposed feature yet.
Yeah, so far no stoppers that I’ve found. I generally like the look but I think as the betas progress they’re probably going to dial down some of the transparency - the notifications on my Lock Screen and the control center icons are very hard to read because I have a kind of busy background picture.

Can confirm this feature is really good. Was so surprised by a song transition that I pressed the headunit’s AppleMusic icon to see what happened (was using Maps at the time).
Seems really stable for the first beta so far, but have a couple of minor quirks.
Face ID to unlock the phone intermittently stops working and o have to fall back to my PIN.
A lot of third party messaging apps (Beeper, Discord, WhatsApp, etc) suffer from the message window being pushed off the top of the screen when I type a message/pop the keyboard.
Also, obviously my bank app no longer works but that’s always expected.
The new liquid glass UI looks great.
All good here. Been running it for a few hours. The weirdest thing is the UI stuff that has and hasn’t been changed.
Just installed and surprisingly, I do not hate it. There is room for some iterative changes but it’s not bad. Rather legible as well.
Thus far all installed apps are working fine.
