There’s never been a better time to try a Max if you’re curious — it feels much better than the previous large variants with the titanium weight improvements and reduced bezels that make the larger size make more sense. The old ones with the chin, forehead, and heavy steel were awful.
Always nice to meet a fan. Thanks for the compliment, I’m enjoying sitting in mine as we speak.
I know you’re right, but if it wasn’t for Apple dropping iOS support the X is still a perfectly good phone. I’m seriously considering waiting another year and hoping my banking apps continue to work.
Ironically I did think about getting the Apple Watch X for the first time, but they all require a minimum of the iPhone Xs
On the X and wondering if the Max is too much of a jump for me. Although it’s another year where I’m not really seeing a big reason to upgrade.
Big fan BTW, your lounge chairs are cool AF.

When I upgraded it wasn’t so much about the minimal updates in this year’s phone. It was the sum of 5+ years of updates that was compelling.
Dynamic Island, a big camera spec jump, much faster Face ID, smoother scrolling, USB C, better Siri, MagSafe, etc.
