I absolutely love my adaptive cruise control, I use it all the time. I have a hybrid and it does a much better job of keeping the engine from kicking in than I do. Thankfully with Honda I can use it everywhere not just highways. It’s been my absolute favorite “new” thing to have in a car!

I’d be curious to know the relation between that and simply watching the news. Maybe it’s not social media, or screen time, but simply being aware of the state of everything that is linked to anxiety and depression.

There is no amount that could answer that because the Ad profit is on top of the already existing product. It would always be viewed as a “loss.”

So this won’t be a common issue, but just an example of “the future” Microsoft flight simulator is going to stream in almost all assets, textures, simulation results etc… they have a recommended bandwidth of 50mbs but I believe someone tested it and its more like 180 so just playing that game would mean you’re blowing through a data limit, it’s not something you could ever just download and just have on your local system.

I would also Imagine streaming video is quite high on the consumption of limits. I have no idea what the rates are on a video call type thing most people who work from home have to deal with, but that can’t be all that low as well.

You’re right, I was just referring to the device as a whole. The “experience” is generally meant to be grab and use as is no tweaking/new apps or whatever so the general phone/tablet user isn’t accustomed to fixing/adding/tweaking, just tap swipe tap swipe tap swipe.

I’d have to imagine most of the people calling them “tech savvy” are just seeing them on phones/tablets which are mostly “dumbed down” hardware in comparison to what you can do with a PC. There isn’t much to know about operating a phone or tablet.

I believe you can, I haven’t tried though. The games install like any other and have an .exe you can point to through steam so it would probably just be a matter of having the epic launcher open as well when you go to play.

The one thing I like about them is they recognized why people really wanted to stick with steam: they have a large established library and don’t want to bounce back and forth.

They took that and said “ok we’ll give you free games every week until you have a large library here and won’t want to leave!”

Jokes on them, I now have a large library of completely free games on epic and still use steam for the games I want to buy because I refuse to support their exclusivity bullshit.

So many people don’t understand that profit comes after all expenses which includes labor. :/

Workers, they’re a mixed bag as there are so many different people, but in the tech space they’re generally intelligent “good” people.
