I don’t know how many mails you have. But if that is what you want, then do the work… Import it into Thunderbird, select all mails in a folder, give them a tag, and move them where you want them. It might take a little time, but my guess is, that it will take way shorter time, than trying to find different programs to help you do it your way.
Oh, and maybe you could come up with a different system, than that google put on you… Just a thought here.
You should always reinstall when switching motherboard. There’s so many drivers that could possible make a problem. Unless you switch between 2 totally identical motherboards… Then give that a go…
So, they know it’s only windows users that downloads it? Interesting - their version 17 must have sucked so much that people switched back, and now they give it another go?
They are not ready. They took several years to master Windows to just a minimum of use. They don’t have the money to pay for help if problems occur. They don’t have someone in their network that can help them. They need a specific app to work flawlessly for either job or hobby. There’s a lot of good reasons. But there are getting less of them, while Linux is evolving.

Linux Mint is very user friendly, it’s build on debian (like Ubuntu), it’s easy to install Steam. Prior bad experiences might have been happening for a number of reasons, but I’d still give it a go…
Yeah, it is on the roadmap. So it’s pretty harsh to keep whining about it. It’s not like it’s something that is impossible to do. It’s not like people support the development that much or at all… It’s just (I want more free stuff, buhuuu)…

I’m sorry to hear, that it’s that difficult for you to draw a circle. It takes me about 15 seconds to make the perfect circle I want. To me, that is simply the time it takes to make it perfect. If I just want a circle, I can do that much quicker…
So how many times a day do you need to make a circle? When I use Affinity, Inkscape, Krita, GIMP, I don’t very often draw a circle. Most of the time, I do it in Inkscape, because it’s great to make shapes, but there’s a wast difference between a program to make vector graphics, and to make and edit bitmap pictures.
Well, if you can’t make a circle in GIMP, then you have quite a lot to learn. I just asked my kid who’s 7, and she easily makes a circle. She would like to show me all the shapes she makes in a minute or two… When I asked her, she made a square, rectangle, triangle, drop, circle, star, lightning, oval, cros and a few more, where she named them all… She had fun doing it, so thanks for that… But please, go practice. BTW I like Krita too - I just don’t feel the need to blame any tool for being different from another. :-)
Can I ask you… how often do you really draw a circle, for this to be an issue?

The one she likes… How about listening to her needs, and then show here some examples, and let her choose?
I’d present her with Mint and Ubuntu - and then what you know is her “style”…
I use AMD, where ever it is possible. Simply because they support Linux. There’s really no other reason needed. I don’t care about CUDA or anything else, that is vaguely not relevant. I’d rather drive a medium car, that gives me freedom, than a high end car, that ties me down.
Going to download it now - and I really like using it! :-)
