There’s also an archive where people are taking screenshots of fascists who post on social media that includes their real names and photos.

You’ll never meet a bigger coward than a billionaire.
So why are we so afraid to tax these little bitches?

I remember when you didn’t have to have a VPN to enjoy the internet.

This guy knows how to translate billionaire dipshit speak.

Sorry, I like playing my games which span a 30 year timeframe. And if even one didn’t work on Linux, then it isn’t worth it to me.

I actually kept going to Digg for a long, long time after it became essentially useless. I guess it was just part of my daily website routine.
As soon as I found out about the ownership change and what they were doing I said “so long” and have no intention of ever going there.

Yeah, I know. Install Linux.
I’ll do that when every single gaming title works flawlessly on it and not a second before.
Until then, I’ll utilize whatever workaround the community comes up with to strip this shit out of File Explorer.
P.S. Many games still don’t work on Linux. https://areweanticheatyet.com/

No thanks, Nazi.

Why the fuck was a teacher’s union on a website run by a neo-Nazi and populated by neo-Nazis?

Welp, glad the old laptop physically broke last night and I bought a new one with 16gb on Xmas sale today.
Also glad I built a new PC last year. Not gonna be upgrading anything for the foreseeable future the way things are looking.

“WHY IS IT SO SLOW?!?!?!”

No shit.
Sincerely,
Sherlock

Just to be clear, because I had to look into it a bit, California’s law won’t require photos/IDs.
“Operating system providers need not collect additional information like photos of government IDs to verify the user’s age. Based on this age information, operating system providers must send digital signals via real-time API (age signals) to developers upon request, transmitting the user’s age range bracket – under 13, at least 13 and under 16, at least 16 and under 18, or at least 18. When a user downloads and launches a developer’s application, the developer must request an age signal from the relevant operating system provider or the application store from which the user downloaded the application.”
So I’m assuming those companies backed it because they want more analytics about the age ranges of the people who use their products.

I’m just over here in “hellscape” California enjoying the freedom to not have to do this, and I can walk down the street to the weed shop, and my girlfriend still has basic human rights over her own body.
Do any other states, like Texas, need some of our freedom? We’ve got some to spare.

Totally.
I’ve been using Windows a long time. I’m actually in IT. Microsoft is definitely going the wrong direction with it. It doesn’t bother me too much because I know how to change what I need to change to make it work the way I want.
It does get old though seeing so many Linux posts all the time. Like, I get it. But over-exposure and fanboying could end up driving people away. I just scroll past. It’s not a big deal. Just felt like pointing it out.

I’ve never seen a harder hard-on than the hard-on Lemmy has for Linux.
More power to you guys, I’m just saying, Linux circlejerking represents like a third of the posts I see when browsing All.
Looks like we’re going to end up a crossover of North Korea and Russia.
All because conservatives hate America and enough others don’t give enough of a fuck to stop conservatives from destroying America.
