“Voluntary safeguards”
The safeguards, for anyone like me who didn’t know about them until now.
Basically, the guidelines include:
Woah chill dude. I never said you were a bad guy. In fact, I get the frustration. I even agree with it to some extent. I just don’t think a lot of people being temporarily inconvenienced is a justifiable excuse to go throwing people into jail willy nilly. Let professionals figure out what happened, let the judges decide if it was actually a criminal offense or just a fuck up of epic proportions, then let the consequences roll out accordingly.
If people are dying (I’m not sure), then I think we need to be acting in greater earnest.
How about holding an investigation first? You know, just to see where the wrongdoing happened and who actually perpetrated it. (It just might have been a bitter developer or something.)
Also, if people want to use windows, it’s their choice and their consequences. Government and corporate services might do well to consider Linux, but most people don’t even know what a command line is.
I’m super curious how they got into his phone
As a teacher, I use publisher all the time to make prints and materials for lessons. I’m still learning new tricks with it. And having Affinity Photo integrated means I click a tab and can better toy with images without having to swap the application.
The facts could be there, but people have good reason to be reluctant to go looking for them. Kids are dumb. They do stupid things all the time when there’s nobody there to tell them how stupid and dangerous it is. Their brains soak up as much as possible, and when they hit puberty, their brains start sloughing off what it thinks is excess, and suddenly they think it’s a good idea to ride a bike off a waterfall or some shit. Secretly opening an onlyfans for stupid easy money from pervs seems hardly a stretch to me if you knew you could avoid being caught.
Or parents who exploit their kids for easy, filthy money.
Auto sorting in Mail, to be honest.
Oh. Well okay then.
A lot of people in this thread have a lot of really strong opinions without actually reading the article. The model was cool with it, but she herself also thinks it’s time to retire the photo from how it’s being used in image processing, where it likely isn’t even necessary in the first place. Respect her on that. I seriously doubt she cares if it remains accessible on the web for the pervs worrying about censorship. It’ll still be there if you desperately don’t want to lose your opportunity to take a gander.
What, you mean like facebook and google?
