I can’t tell you if Void or any other minimal distro is significantly faster relatively to something more comfortable than Fedora.
But even if it is, then I would still use something “bloated” because it just works and requires less input from my side.
Booting takes just seconds anyway with NVMe disks, so why bother if it takes 4 or 5 seconds, if the PC runs smoother for the next days it is powered on?

I personally enjoy Fedora Atomic even more than the mutable version, but in your case, you would have to decide for yourself.

Dude… As soon as anyone mentions image based distros, you come up with the same copypasta everytime.
You also never come up with any good counter arguments if someone disagrees with your statements.

While IBDs aren’t the holy grail, they certainly can and will transform the Linux ecosystem for the better.

Nicht-so-Geheimtipps

• Gnome Circle: (Linux) Gnome hat, meiner Meinung nach, das beste App-Ökosystem überhaupt. Mir gefällts sogar noch besser als das von Apple, weil die Software den UNIX-Ansatz besser folgt und dabei enorm simpel und genial ist.
• Darktable: (PC) für die Fotonachbearbeitung meiner Raw-Bilder gibt’s keine geilere Alternative. Selbst Ex-Lightroom-Nutzer finden, dass es dem Adobe-Zeug kaum hinterher ist
• GrapheneOS: (Android) Vanilla Android in sicherer.
• Nextcloud: brauch ich nicht viel dazu sagen. Hat seine Kritikpunkte, aber im Endeffekt ist es doch gut.
• KDE Connect: (Linux/ Android) kennt auch jeder, der Gnome/ KDE benutzt.

Unbekannteres (“Geheimtipps”)

• Logseq: (PC, Mobil geht aber auch halbwegs) mein ausgelagertes Gehirn. Ein absolut revolutionärer Workflow, Notizen zu verfassen. Fast alle Notizapps sind gleich, die hier aber was komplett anderes. 10/10, rettet mir mit meinem ADHS-Hirn den Arsch und verknüpft gesammeltes Wissen auf neue Art und Weise.
• Winget und Powertoys: in der Arbeit muss ich Windows benutzen, und die beiden OpenSource-Tools von MS machen Windows wenigstens etwas weniger scheiße…
• Eternity: (Android) Lemmy-Fork von Infinity, meinem Lieblings-Redditclient. Vom dem schreibe ich hier gerade.
• Gadgetbridge: (Android) Schnittstelle zwischen Smartwatch und Handy. Ersetzt die proprietären Datenkraken von Xiaomi, Amazfit, und co.
• Kvaesitso: (Android) mein Lieblings-Launcher. Sehr interessanter und effizienter Workflow.
