Can someone explain the “be happy” part of the “you’ll own nothing and be happy” quote? I fail to see what is there to be happy about.

Huh. Buzzword fueled stupidity might have a positive effect for once.

That’s exactly the reasoning why it’s not wrong to block ads. I do it on every device I have. Screw ad companies.

It’s a little bit more nuanced than that. Yes you’re denying ad revenue but it’s not a bad thing.

Pretty sure it’s just for bragging rights.
