The takeaway is this: Sonarr/Radarr v5 will solve this by setting the airtime, and restricting torrent grabs before that. There may also be a manual offset override (hours).

I still think the easier solution is to set the indexer to manually choose what qualifies as a dangerous file type.

They use their own in-built all store. It works better for me than aurora (based on the state of both a year ago)

So I’ve tried that too, and it’s the best by far.

The reason for disliking LineageOS is its dependence on Aurora Store (Google Play mirror).

Maybe it has gotten better over the past year, but it was always quite buggy. Some apps wouldn’t install from Aurora, others weren’t found, it was a pain in the ass.

/e/OS uses a different app store (which is also a mirror) but tends to work much better.

Are you sure you’re not thinking of custom Android ROMs like LineageOS or /e/OS?

Because there are ROMs like Ubuntu Touch, but they’re less developed than the other Android ROMs.

For reference, ive tried /e/OS, LineageOS and DivestOS (RIP).

Most updates its usually just a matter of updating a key.

Its not that hard to make a wrapper for a program designed for hard-linked paths.

If Collective Shout want to argue these games cause harm, then show us the harm. Not correlation. Not outrage. Not hypothetical downstream consequences. Show causation. Peer-reviewed. Reproducible.

Otherwise, they’re just moralizing bullies using the banking system as a cudgel.

On top of this, they might actually be harming their own cause. The catharsis hypothesis poses that sexual fantasy enactment might reduce risk of real world harm.

The logic is simple: suppressing a compulsion doesn’t eliminate it. It just bottles up until it explodes. Redirect it into a safe outlet, and it becomes manageable.

The only reason this research isn’t cited more often is because it’s politically radioactive. Nobody wants to admit that it’s better to let a gooners jerk off, than to escalate under repression.

The burden of proof SHOULD be on Collective Shout to provide a reasonable argument which supports their claim that censorship will reduce real world harm.

IMO, look into the linuxserver.io fork of NGINX, called SWAG.

It comes preloaded with a bunch of fantastic addons for security.

Quite easy to get set up, if you’ve got an idea about how it works.
