The feature is going away but on Google Maps they have a Timeline section where you can go back and see exactly where you’ve been each day. I found it useful when I traveled in Japan to see the names of shops and restaurants I stopped at but then realized… Google has known everywhere I’ve been for over a decade now. Hmm.

The chiefs found that the Wi-Fi signal coming off the Starlink satellite transceiver couldn’t cover the entire ship, so during a stop in Pearl Harbor, they bought “signal repeaters and cable” to extend coverage.
I’m right there with you. My first reaction to the video in the article was “well that’s terrifying”.

My Samsung watch works without a phone on Google Fi network. Watches get a free line.

I did a double take when I first read it. Then I realized it was, Nothing, the phone company.
They’re already charging $79/year for a subscription. No monthly membership.

That whole “22% faster” worries me. 4 years later and only 22% faster?
I know Ticketmaster just sent out millions of “sorry we got hacked, freeze your credit for free with this code” letters. Maybe they’re struggling to keep up with demand.
