In Canada it is all or nothing. :(
In Canada it is all or nothing. :(
Exactly the problem.
It’s not a big enough difference maker for most of us to ever truly need it. An amber alert for a kid thousands of miles away? No thanks, because that is what I got the vast majority of the time.
Life is too short for such invasive stress.
Government issued alerts are something I went out of my way to remove. I’ll happily live precariously like humans managed to do for the entire rest of our history before cell phones.
What improvements would you like to see through development?
Fucking exactly. It’s regular users that turn everything to shit, or allow it to happen at least.
Yeah as soon as I am directed to discord for anything , I move on with something else in life instead.
Yeah funny you say that, zip ties are something I never cheap out on. At least not after buying cheap one a couple decades ago, I learned my lesson.
Home Depot has some great zip ties and each time I use them, I get a small dopamine surge of joy.
It’s just one of those things in life where quality matters.
AliExpress also sells high quality niche items if you know how to find them. I agree the site is drowning in crap, but at least coming from Canada, it often has things amazon.ca simply doesn’t sell… or anywhere else in the world at a price that isn’t prohibitive.
Just like most places on the Internet, using the site is a skill that needs to be developed.
That was a good read with him documenting and sharing everything.
Let the hate flow through you.

Reading your comments is Nazis Nazis Nazis. I think you need some help.
You think Lemmy has free speech? Some major mods here are quite liberal in controlling exactly what speech and ideas they allow their uses to be exposed to, and that is how it will always be by those desiring power over others.
That was one of th better commercials I’ve seen in the last couple decades, I found myself pulling for them.
It was a little silly and over the top, which was the goal. I think they nailed it. But it wouldn’t be modern day without offended people running interference.
Well that is a terrifying headline.
I really should have done that. I replace capacitors in monitors and do other bits of soldering, including making my own audio cables. Seems like a natural extension. I bet I still have those mice in a storage tub.
I was a flunky of Logitech for most of my life, but after multiple mice in a row that developed the double click issue in far too short a time, I have vowed to never buy another.
I’ve been super happy using simple, cheap assed mice and I can’t tell the difference in the slightest.
$20 mice ftw.
