Careful with wiping anything with the “boot” flag. That can backfire very badly depending on how your system is set up. Those are small anyways so i would just leave them and only kill the ntfs partitions and combine that space into an extra partition that you can store stuff in.

Resizing partitions is messy so if you want a clean setup with one big home partition i would just reinstall. You could also copy everything in the home partition to a backup drive and just try out resizing. If it breaks you can create a new home partition and copy everything back.

ElementX (main mobile matrix client) has live location sharing that works in group chats. Be aware that any location sharing system that loads map data (tiles) from a server automatically leaks your location to that server. The only way to solve this would be to have all the map tiles required stored offline but I’m not aware of any solution that does this. The simplest way to achieve maximum privacy is to just have something that automatically shares just the coordinates as a text message at a regular interval then you can open those coordinates in an offline map app.

As you can see here, the map tiles are loaded from “MapLibre” when using ElementX or rather its cool fork SchildiChatNext. That means MapLibre would technically know roughly where you are and have been. All apps that dont prompt you to download large chunks of map data in advance will load map tiles on demand and expose your location.

I think we all know why they dont close those doors no? Like its completely common knowledge at this point that delivery drivers get monitored down to the second and that if they dont save every bit of time possible they will get their pay cut or fired for not meeting quota. The technical solution to this is just an automatic door or curtain system that doesnt cost time to open/close but still keeps the hot air out. Plex is outside of the administrators control.

They merely have control over a user interface that can be replaced.

If you have no control over it, that means plex isnt self hosted. The data is self hosted, but not the interface which is all that plex is at the end. You are basically just donating your hardware and data to a shitty company at that point.
