MangoHud is the Linux equivalent of MSI Afterburner. An optional tool called Goverlay is a GUI for configuring MangoHud. To make the overlay actually show up on screen, after you’ve installed MangoHud you need to add mangohud %command%
to the game’s launch parameters in Steam. Good luck.
EDIT: Added the correct launch code—thank you, Pelotron.
Which chromebooks? if you don’t mind my asking… thinking of going this route, but I’ve read not all chromebooks are created equal wrt installing Linux.
With GrapheneOS do you still get the same quality photos as you would with the stock OS?
Is there such a thing as a Windows live environment? Once in a blue moon I need to boot into Windows, like when I need to reprogram my gaming mouse or something. I’d love to not have to maintain a separate partition on my OS drive that I use like once a year.
Is there any particular project or content creator you vibe with? If so, maybe check out their socials for links to their merch.

dang it, I keep reading this as “BCA Chefs” 🤦
Interesting. I wonder if that’s a bug in the Photon app. I use Voyager on mobile. When I tap to create a new post, there is a toggle for link, image, or text.
I’m guessing it’s because you’d selected Link as the post type instead of Text.
Do you get high def Netflix? I’ve read in multiple places that Netflix limits streams to 720p in web browsers, which has always stopped me from straying from my chromecast. Not sure if that’s what I’m seeing in your photo, though. (basically I have the same question as OP)
Do you have backup copies of your important files? If so, nuke that shizzle and try again starting from scratch.
Editing to clarify: Nuke that shizzle = nuke the installation device, not the backup. 😉
OP answered this in another comment: They are getting prompted to sign up for Ubuntu Pro whenever they upgrade.
How? GPT4All + Llama or something else? I just started dipping my toe in locally run open source LLM.
You’ve hit the nail on the head with this one. I think the other commenters are right, that a lot of people will misuse the tool, but nonetheless it is an issue with the users, not the tool itself.
