13·1 month agoI keep getting ads for crack cocaine. Been a couple months now, every time I log into Facebook, “CRYSTAL CLEAR, 100% PURE” or some shit.
Like what are the drug cops even supposed to do now, arrest Facebook?

The person I replied to was saying that the idea that Tiktok was a Chinese propaganda machine was a “vague ‘Sinophobic’ conspiracy theory”, and I’m pointing out how they used ‘sinophobic’ to dismiss a legitimate concern about a state government. Much like people use “anti-semitic”. Or “Russophobic”.
What are you confused about? How did I invalidate my own comment? Please elaborate.

The only time I ever hear the term “sinophobic”, it’s someone using it to hand-wave away criticisms of the Chinese government.
Sort of like “anti-semitic” and criticisms of Israel.

Going after people that criticize the leader, banning other parties, ending term limits, propping up businesses that he’s friends with while charging his enemies with “corruption”, and preaching a popular ideology without actually committing to any of its core values.

The truth is though, for many in Germany and the UK including those at the highest levels of power they are if anything jealous to be missing out on the colonialism and genocide.

Germany and the UK are the latest two that have issued arms embargos against Israel, however considering less than 0.1% of Israel’s arms come from outside America, they have little power or influence there.
How many of those countries is it a crime to criticize Israel in? The UK and Germany at a minimum.
Zero. It is not a crime to criticize Israel in either the UK or Germany. The BBC just published an article accusing them of genocide. You are spreading misinformation.

I have a 25ft HDMI cable that works fine for everything except sometimes when I open a new tab in Firefox, the screen temporarily goes blank/no-signal for a couple seconds. Also sometimes when the dryer turns on.
