Liberals are just sheep. They believe whatever the media tells them. They think they don’t need to believe anything other than the media tells them. One of the things the media tells them is they are superior to others, and it gets into their heads.
Or, apparently, introspectiveness…

Uhhhhhhhhh, gotta say, I’ve never once heard NPR tell me that we’re special or privilaged, or above the law. Or even should be.
Meanwhile our current president is a 34x convicted criminal and sexual predator.
…although to be fair, the democrats also had a sexual predator in the 60s (twice), and the 90s.
But I can’t recall any democrat running on the platform of “we’re better than them”.
